Position: Junior Packaging Designer

Majesty Brands is an innovative manufacturer of socks and hosiery, addressing all product ranges and retail channels. Majesty is a proud licensee of major brands such as Jessica Simpson, Starter, Danskin, Nicole Miller, Mudd, Sam & Olivia, and many more.

As a packaging designer, I design innovative soft-goods packaging and dielines for various products including intimates and socks, I develop packaging from concept and mock-ups to final products and oversee production, quality, and fit through efficient communication with factories and production sites based in China.

In the last year at Majesty, I have designed well over a dozen of eclectic novelty concepts and managed sampling and production of these for retailers like 5Below and TJ Max. This development included ideas like bouquet socks and creating a fake LV pattern for luggage socks. Each projects included brand design, sock folding to mimic actual product, for instance fortune cookies and roses, and structural design.

Along with novelty concepts, I was also in charge of production and design for my brands/retailers like Elev8, Happy Threads and Cracker Barrel. This involved new concepting as well as managing production for repeating orders.
